Over the course of a two year partnership with Outward Bound Canada, a series of multi-day camps were held with Treaty Education Alliance affiliated schools that would provide teachers and staff opportunities to come together in the spirit of Nation Building and provide them with skills and training necessary to build our collective capacities to offer more land-based learning opportunities for students.
Training modules included Wilderness First Aid certification, as well as OCC (Outdoor Council of Canada) Field Leader Certifications leading Hiking, Canoeing, Map & Compass, as well and Winter and Overnight camps.
