Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is Canada’s leading national land conservation organization. A private, non-profit organization, we partner with individuals, corporations, other non-profit organizations and governments at all levels to protect our most important natural treasures – the natural areas that sustain Canada’s plants and wildlife.

Since 1962, the Nature Conservancy of Canada and our partners have helped to conserve 2.8 million acres (more than 1.1 million hectares) of ecologically significant land from coast to coast.

________________

In addition to protecting and conserving natural habitats, the Nature Conservancy of Canada also plays a lead role in environmental volunteer and education programs through initiatives such as Learning the Land.

The Nature Conservancy of Canada magazine’s winter 2019 edition put a spotlight on Learning the Land. Click to read their take on the partnership!
